Rick Hanes Guitars DR Chris Bickley Custom Series

Indonesian based Rick Hanes Guitars have been popping up in the guitar blogosphere lately and I’m not surprised, just check the swirl on this Chris Bickley DR Pro Series guitar. The guitar itself is obviously based on a Les Paul but more similar to ESP’s version than the original with its sharp cutaway and features some modern upgrades such as a 3 piece Mahogany set neck with two sides Carbon Graphite Neck Reinforcement and a dual action Truss Rod. The fretboard is made from Rosewood and has 24 wide jumbo frets.

The bridge is a Graphtech Resomax NV-Ghost Loaded which contains custom-engineered piezo crystals installed into the Graphtech String Saver saddles and a Accoustic-Phonic Modular PreAmp (9V Battery powered) ensures the highest quality acoustic tones. Aside from the Piezo system the guitar also has a Seymour Duncan SH-14 in the bridge position and a Seymour Duncan SH-2 in the neck position, a classic humbucker combination. These pickups are controlled by Seymour Duncan 500K & GraphTech Pot with a Mid/Dark Push-Pull.
